Elevate My Perceptions Inc is committed to increasing awareness about the issue of gentrification and its impact on the residents and small business owners living and operating a business in redeveloped communities. Creating awareness about the issue of gentrification for Elevate My Perceptions is done through a Post-Doc Fellowship Program. The Post-Doc Fellowship Program is a two-year program geared toward increasing the amount of scholarly research on the issue of gentrification while also bring awareness about the issue on a scholarly level. This program is to educate and advocate for change in government policies that promote displacement of those that have been living and operating a business in areas undergoing gentrification for many years. This Post-Doc Fellowship program will allow the new PhD and DBA recipients the opportunity to conduct research while gaining work experience on a collegiate level under mentorship.
